Personality:
Even at her young age, this filly is wickedly intelligent, though a good natured and kind hearted horse. She is not easy to fool, however. She knows what she wants and knows just how to get it. In her eyes, that person sitting up on her back is simply there for the ride. She has it handled, and the moment she sees a chance to schmooze her way into getting what she wants, she will. If she associates you with something pleasant, you find a pretty little bay horse face in your way if you tried to walk past her stall without issuing any sort of affection. Her favourites consisted of food, companionship, and music, in that order. A little diva of the barn, she would scream and paw for hours if someone ate something she decided could be edible in plain sight and didn't share. She loves people, but is very particular about the ones that she considers hers, and is a total darling to those. In the sense of music, it's rather hilarious how particular she is with music. Classical music lulls her to sleep, rock gets her revved up before a workout and produces a horse that is raring to go. Rap results in things being thrown.
Racing Style:
Like mentioned before, as far as Imp is concerned, her jock is just on for the ride. But that pessimism both plays in her favour and can be her worst enemy and something we want to work on. However, her intelligence has also made her a wicked competitor from what we can tell. She hangs in back after breaking quickly and smoothly, trailing the back up until the last three furlongs and she shifts gears and goes full throttle. What astonishes us
is that this little girl is very quick and agile, using the same grace she displays that almost reminds people of more of a cat than a horse. She doesn't need the direction at an opening, she squeezes her way flawlessly through to the lead herself. Though where she hasn't figured out that she needs her jock, yet, is where she will use every burst of power she has to where she burns out way too early. She needs a strong jockey that's going to be able to guide her and keep her from blowing out too quickly. This is where her being a sprinter gives her the advantage; a little horse with immense bursts of speed that bring her from the back immediately to the front.
