The Basics
Registered Name: Enchantress
Nickname: Nessa

Breed: Thoroughbred
Colour & Markings: Grey (Black base)
Genotype: Ee/aa/Gg
Height: 16hh
Gender: Filly
Personality:
Nessa is full of energy and spirit, and just a little bit feisty, as most young Thoroughbreds are. On the ground, she behaves wonderfully. She stands on the cross-ties, loves being groomed and pampered, and will do just about anything for a little bite to eat. Sounds like a full-fledged sweetie pie, right? Not quite. Once there's a rider up on her back, Nessa likes to make a big deal out of everything. She spooks at whatever she can find to spook at, hops around, usually won't load in the gate without two arms pushing on her behind, and nips and kicks at other horses. When she actually puts her mind to running, she performs wonderfully.
Nessa was born at a little farm named Spartan Racing. The owners there loved her and she was pampered like a little princess. Unfortunately they had to get rid of their stock after their farm went bankrupt. Nessa was rescued and brought to the Green Horse Fields Economy Stable Row. Eventually the filly caught Kirsten's eye and she tried her hardest to avoid getting another horse but to no avail. After fighting herself for a month she eventually gave in and brought Nessa home to Akita Rose Stables. Following her stint at Akita Rose Stables, Nessa was an economy horse for quite sometime before she caught Harriet McGrath's eye. Harriet saw great potential in the filly, and with one placing under her belt, it was known that she was something special.
Nessa is a totally different horse when she races. She gets so riled up and excitable that she starts to sweat before the race even starts. She is not good with loading in the gate and will need some help with that every time but once she breaks she settles down and focuses on the race ahead of her. She usually settles in around mid pack and closes in on the leaders in the homestretch. When she runs she stretches her whole body out so she is low to the ground and ready to overcome her rivals.
